Hassaan, Volume 28: March 16, 2015

The sound of hard work permeates the air throughout our community this week, as we publish our weather myths, type our weather reports, grapple with place value, interact with David Schwartz, and welcome a new community member, Minge! Next week, we begin a new unit of inquiry. How We Express Ourselves will center around Artifacts and what they tell us about the people that created them. You may want to start thinking about these ideas at home: How have artifacts played an important role in your life? Do you keep certain things with you as you travel around the world? Are items passed on from generation to the next? An artifact can be anything made by a person, or people. Lastly, just a reminder that March break is around the corner (March 30-April 6). Enjoy this week in pictures!

Author David Schwartz loves his popcorn and grandpas!

We did a cooperating activity for a brain break and JunHyeok was passed along:)

David Schwartz shares his art of storytelling. Ask about Old Man Grandpa and his bicycle adventure!
