Volume 31: 11 April 2016

Sometimes you just need a community picture!
Our focus on artifacts and the people who created them continues. We finished our study of functions with a story problem that illustrates our understanding of functions and how they help us in the real-world. Our field trip to Rakhimov Ceramic Pottery Studio was fun and we learned the rich history of ceramic making in Tashkent and places throughout Uzbekistan. This history ties into the Silk Road and how artifacts travel from people to people and place to place. We are almost done with our Book Clubs, as well as our final touches on weather reports. Brilliant, determined, focused, and laughter are words that aptly characterize our fantastic week. Please our work through the pictures from this week. Enjoy the week!
