This Wednesday, December 17 grade 4 is hosting their yearly
assembly. Our theme is "Giving" and is inspired by the holiday season. As part of our work, students will create a "giving plan" for a random person in our community. They are to observe the other person for two days, create a giving plan, and follow-through with their giving plan. The idea is to focus on ways to give to others, rather than focus on receiving from others. To promote different ways of thinking, we watched this
video. I would check it out!
Please remember to
read your historical fiction novel over winter break. It is expected that presentations be ready when students return. For those students that miss their day due to break, we will work out a different time for them, so they have enough time to prepare.

Winter Concert. Students arrive at 6:15pm. Concert begins at 6:30pm.
