Volume 15: November 23, 2015

Sahana working hard on her poster!
Sometimes kids surprise you and this week has been full of surprises! Between our field trips, discussions about the body and health, our daily actions, interactive activities, and more, we have created a solid foundation of knowledge. Students have taken this knowledge, analyzed it, dissected it, discussed it, and created new ideas and understandings - this is called learning in the most personal way. Students have been "wowed" by their new ideas and they are ready to "WOW" you! The culminating event, about to take place tomorrow, will showcase just how much we have learned and how systems are inter-related.

Our book shares continue to be a success! Sahana did a great job with her cup o' characters! Thanks for sharing your passion for reading with us. Remember, December is all about mysteries! We can't wait to see the shadow puppets! For guidelines, please click here. Enjoy the week!
